Today I was browsing through my phone photos and found these shots of my daughter.
They made me smile for a couple of reasons. First, I didn’t take these photos, her older sister did. We were home one Sunday and they decided to do a photo shoot. And instead of using our camera they wanted my phone.
I thought nothing of it, but when I saw these shots I was impressed. They decided everything- the poses, to do black and white, to use “mood.”
Secondly, coming across these photos today reminded me of the importance of letting them plan and implement. It is not my job to make every decision, to fill every minute of their day, to mold them into a mini me.
I am simply here to love, coach and provide the tools for them to be the best version of themselves. And in return I get awesomeness like this, :-).
